Pastor Josh Vincent has accepted the call to serve as Senior Pastor at Centreville Baptist Church in Virginia. Josh came to Trinity Bible Church in December of 2009 with a heart for God's people and to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Because of his labor among us, TBC is well-equipped with men and women who love Jesus and want to serve His church. We're in a good place to continue to flourish in the years ahead, due in no small part to Josh’s vision and dedication.

As the elders continue to prayerfully consider what to do on a more permanent basis for the Lead Pastor role, Malachi Tresler has been named Acting Lead Pastor. Malachi has worked closely with Josh for years, beginning service at Trinity Bible as Pastoral Assistant of Music in 2013 and then joining full-time staff in 2019 as Pastor of Music and Discipleship. Tresler received his M.Div. from Phoenix Seminary in May of 2021. He and his wife, Melissa, are Arizona natives and have three children—Deacon, Dillon, and Evangeline.

Trinity has been blessed with teams of leaders who are well prepared to serve in preaching, teaching, and music. This Fall, Pastor Malachi will take the lead alongside a gifted team of men at Trinity, continuing the ministry of expositional preaching. Sunday’s services will be led by a talented and pastoral team of lead musicians.

Anticipating a steady transition heading into the Fall, Tresler said, “Gathered worship services will continue to be Word-centered, reverent, and passionate. Gospel-centrality, expositional preaching, meaningful membership, and a vital disciple-making ministry will remain hallmarks of Trinity's mission.”

Trinity Bible Church met on Sunday night as a family to express gratitude to God for Josh’s faithful years of service and to look forward with excitement and anticipation at what the Lord might continue to do through her ministry. See more photos from Sunday night.

Thank you, Pastor Josh, for your steadfast and faithful service!
