For decades, Trinity Bible Church has encouraged her members to give towards a special Harvest Offering as an expression of our gratitude to God in response to His extravagant generosity toward us. For those new to the Trinity family, this is a special offering we give over and above our normal, faithful giving as a reflection of our gratitude for God’s gracious provision in our lives. We typically split the offering between internal needs and outside missions.

Consider what God has done through us in recent years:

  • 2018 — Bought beds for children at Rancho 3M, a gospel-centered orphanage in Mexico, and gave to Choices Pregnancy Center as well as updating our Worship Center Lobby making it more inviting for guests.
  • 2019 — Supported members traveling to Guatemala to train pastors ministering to people speaking Q'eqchi' (an ancient Mayan dialect). The remainder went to repair the failing stucco surrounding the roof of the Worship Center.
  • 2020 — Gifted supported missionary Dale Armstrong, honoring his retirement from Wycliffe Bible Translators, and renovated the Worship Center stage.
  • 2021 — Supported Christian Afghan refugees in the U.S. through a partnership with our friends at Refuge International and renovated the Children’s playground area by the Education Center.

In 2022, the elders have designated the annual Harvest Offering to be divided between supporting Chinese Christians and renovating the restrooms in our Worship Center.

The first portion will be given to support our brothers and sisters in China. We intend to partner with 9Marks, who is working directly with pastors and workers in China to provide them with healthy theological resources. As China’s President expands his power and doubles down on anti-Christian regulations, it appears that a window to send assistance from outside China may be quickly closing. 9Marks is working together with an association of trusted local churches inside China to translate books, journals, and equipping materials for creative digital distribution in China.

Internally, we would like to renovate the Worship Center restrooms as an act of hospitality with new flooring, counters, and paint. Fresh, updated, well-kept facilities are important for us to help members and guests feel our care for them.

We began collecting our annual Harvest Offering on Sunday, November 20th during the service and you are welcome to continue to give through the end of the year.

Please pray about joining us in this special offering and ask that God would use it for the equipping of saints for works of ministry and for Making Disciple-Making Disciples.
