...But Now I See
Preacher: Malachi Tresler Series: The Gospel of John Scripture: John 9:1–41
Malachi Tresler. John 9:1-41. "We need God to give us eyes to truly see and savor Jesus."
In John 9, Jesus performs a miraculous healing of a man born blind. The healing not only restores physical sight but also symbolizes Jesus as the light of the world and the one who opens the eyes of the spiritually blind. Responses to the miracle vary: some are curious, others cynical or fearful, and some even persecute the healed man. Ultimately, the man confesses faith in Jesus as the Son of Man and worships him. The most remarkable miracle in this chapter is not physical sight but a heart transformed to worship Jesus.
